Miami Art week - Day charter in Miami

Miami Art Week, arguably the pinnacle of Miami’s cultural season, sees millions of art enthusiasts and collectors visit “The Magic City” to take in one of the most significant and talked-about art exhibitions for contemporary and modern art and design.

This event will usually run from the final week of November through to the first week of December (dates for this year to be confirmed). This cultural event features seven major international art fairs in Miami Beach, with nine more locations such as Wynwood, Downtown Miami, the Miami River, the Design District, and Coconut Grove, as well as additional pop-up public exhibitions at various locations throughout the city.

Here are 5 Miami art fairs we highly recommend attending:

Miami Beach Art Fairs

Art Basel –

Art Basel Miami Beach is the largest of the art fairs and the centrepiece of Miami Art Week. With over 250 exhibitors, mostly from North and South America with a few additions from Africa, Asia, and Europe, as well as programming beyond its location at nearby museums and private collections.

Design Miami –

Design Miami, one of the top design markets in the world, brings together the best galleries from across the globe to present museum-calibre exhibitions of 20th and 21st century design products, including everything from furniture to lighting and pieces of art.

One of our favourite annual events in Miami, Design Miami is a must-attend for us because it combines opportunities for collectors and design enthusiasts with progressive programming that sparks timely discussions and features panels and talks with esteemed designers and architects from around the world.

Untitled

Untitled Art's aim is to promote the broader art ecosystem, and it offers an inclusive platform that places a premium on cooperation and chooses participant artists with a global reach, frequently including galleries and artists outside of the traditional art hotspots.

Untitled Art was the first art fair to provide an online component, and it continues to take advantage of new technology to increase the accessibility and potential of collecting contemporary art to new and diverse audiences. Untitled Art is committed to advancing an equitable art culture by amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities through its platform. To promote the upcoming generation of cultural writers and art critics, Untitled Art will also restart its writers-in-residence programme in 2022.
